I successfully produced a high-level, week-long Tactical Summit for Europe & Canada’s elite pharmaceutical leadership, partnering with a major Japanese multinational biopharmaceutical company focused on life-transforming treatments in oncology, rare diseases, and neuroscience. Delivered full-spectrum strategic and creative execution at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre, Amsterdam: from developing the core event identity and managing the creation of dynamic, cutting-edge content (PPT, video, AI integration) to providing approachable, personalised coaching for senior speakers and meticulously scripting the flow. The result was a strategically tight and brilliantly executed agenda.

I recently delivered the third annual International Leaders Summit in Madrid as Show Producer, leading the live and virtual production integration for a complex, high-profile international event.

This was a three-day leadership summit for 100 senior leaders, delivered in partnership with a local Spanish technical production company. The programme included a theatre-style plenary with a panoramic LED screen, seven breakout and workshop spaces, two offsite dining experiences, a Gatsby-themed gala dinner, a fully produced lip-dub team-building experience (including choreography, filming and edit), a 90-minute virtual town hall broadcast to an invited audience of 7,000 employees worldwide, and a live remote guest contributor.

The project required agility and precision. During delivery, the evolving conflict in the Middle East forced a rapid pivot from in-room speakers to virtual presenters and remote content delivery. In addition, a localised power failure at the venue triggered technical reboots and an urgent investigation into infrastructure issues, later linked to venue refurbishment works that had not been represented accurately at a local level. In response, I worked closely with the project manager, venue, client core team, and production partners to adapt the technical model in real time.

My role centred on orchestrating people, production, and decision-making under pressure; ensuring the event remained seamless from the audience’s perspective while the delivery model became increasingly dependent on live video, NDI workflows, and Microsoft Teams integration. I also developed multiple digital communication channels to accelerate responses across venue operations, client updates, offsite activities, logistics, technical management, and crew coordination.

The client later described me as “trusted” and “able to predict my next request” — exactly the kind of confidence I aim to create on every event: calm leadership, proactive problem-solving, and delivery that stays strong even when conditions change.

Led the full production of Avalara’s flagship finance and tax leadership conference, CRUSH on Tour, hosted at The Dorchester, London. Working closely with the AV Project Manager and Client Core Team, I managed all strategic and operational aspects of this complex, 300-person event. The programme utilised two production stages, multiple training rooms, and networking areas, focusing on critical topics for CFOs and Tax Directors (UK/EU compliance, e-invoicing, AI impact). Successfully coordinated all venue logistics, vendor management, and high-profile talent, including keynote speaker Jo Malone CBE, delivering a polished, high-value experience that served as a critical platform for industry thought leadership. Event Producer for a high-level, week-long tactical summit for Europe & Canada’s top pharmaceutical leaders. Delivered end-to-end creative and strategic support — from developing the event identity and crafting impactful presentation content (PPT, VT, Digital, AI) to scripting, coaching presenters, and building a compelling agenda. I led technical operations for a four-day corporate event in central London for a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics. My role involved overseeing room and AV management across three meeting spaces, coordinating a multidisciplinary AV team (including PTZ camera operator, PowerPoint and sound technicians, and remote platform support via Zoom and Microsoft Teams), and acting as the primary client liaison. I managed all digital materials, provided onsite video editing, and collaborated with the Hilton Hotel Events Team to ensure seamless logistics. I also handled last-minute technical requests such as mobile device streaming, impromptu Teams broadcasts, and digital archiving, ensuring a smooth experience for approximately 45 global delegates. Showcaller for a dynamic 60-minute internal broadcast live from KPMG’s London headquarters at 15 Canada Square, Canary Wharf. The production featured a five-camera set-up, two in-studio hosts, special guest Stefan Pfister (CEO, KPMG Switzerland), and a live studio audience. Blending video, live, and interactive elements, the broadcast reached over 6,500 employees in real time. I served as Show Caller for one of the sector’s most influential gatherings — the FT Live Global Pharma and Biotech Summit 2025, an event bringing together more than three hundred attendees, over forty-five speakers, more than three hundred and twenty companies, and participants from more than twenty countries. The summit examined major advances in biopharmaceutical innovation,.

Working with presenters and senior leaders from Roche, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, and MSD, I oversaw the full live delivery across both the in-person and digital formats. My role demanded precise control of all timings, cues, and programme flow, acting as the central communication point between the client, venue, technical crew, and presenters. I adapted quickly to real-time changes, resolving challenges as they emerged, while also developing bespoke software to strengthen run-of-show accuracy and improve agenda timing.

As the Showcaller, I showcalled the live execution of Scotland’s largest event for the convenience retail sector at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort, directing over 850 delegates and 200 FMCG exhibitors. My role was the central control point for the entire complex, multi-day programme, including a leadership conference, trade show, and a spectacular evening featuring a Gala Dinner, Awards Ceremony, Live Band, and Video DJ. I managed and cued all live elements and transitions – coordinating senior SPAR leaders, high-profile Scottish football guests, and the full technical crew (MM Productions) to ensure a strategically tight, high-impact, and perfectly timed show flow across the entire venue. I was Production Show caller for a global internal communications broadcast for a leading biopharmaceutical company. Working client-facing throughout, I created the Run of Show and coordinated with three project managers (client, agency, and technical), as well as the onsite comms team and global senior leadership presenters. I worked closely with the technical teams — LX, Sound, Camera Ops, Broadcast Manager, and vMix Op — to deliver a three-camera studio broadcast, live-streamed to all territories worldwide (including China) with simultaneous translation into eight languages. Despite a tight turnaround, minimal onsite rehearsal time, and multiple last-minute changes to digital assets, the show ran smoothly and to time. I provided presenter onboarding and relaxed, friendly on-camera coaching, and I even developed custom HTML code to synchronise agenda timing with streaming latency; giving us greater control of the live broadcast.

I led the technical delivery of a 90-minute live ceremony attended by 140 senior industry guests. Working client-facing throughout, I ran and cued the technical rehearsal, cue-to-cue, and presenter run-throughs, coordinating across all departments. I called all show cues — including mixed live and pre-recorded walk-up music, live performances by Alex Horne and The Horne Section, two BSL-interpreted performances, and autocue delivery for 24 scripted awards. Collaborating closely with Encore’s production team, I managed a constantly evolving run of show with nine script versions, SRT caption files, and complex cue sequencing, all in a high-pressure live environment. As Stage Manager and A2 (Sound) for the Takeda Transplant Exchange Meeting at the RCP, I had sole responsibility for the management and delivery of the main stage, ensuring all sessions ran smoothly within a multi-room programme. I coordinated speaker flow, maintained stage readiness, and executed precise transitions between presentations, panel discussions, and case-based sessions. In my audio support role, I managed all microphone cues, presenter changeovers, and live sound requirements to ensure clear and consistent audio throughout the day.

Working closely with the client, venue, and technical teams, I safeguarded programme accuracy on the primary stage, supported faculty needs, and ensured the event’s educational content was delivered without disruption. My dual responsibilities were central to maintaining the professional, steady, and high-quality delivery expected of a CPD-accredited medical meeting.

Delivered a structured coaching programme supporting senior Kantar Media staff in the creation and delivery of high-impact presentations and panel sessions for The World Audiences Summit 2023 and 2024. Facilitated a multi-stage training process across virtual and in-person formats, focusing on storytelling, slide design, personal delivery, and panel moderation. Coached four presenter groups on crafting persuasive, sales-driven narratives, and supported C-Suite executives and regional leads in elevating their facilitation of panels, fireside chats, and stage hosting, ensuring audience engagement and message clarity in a high-profile international forum. Contracted to manage technical floor operations for a high-profile live corporate AGM. Collaborated directly with the showcaller, production director, project manager, and executive presenters to deliver a seamless two-hour broadcast. Responsibilities included rehearsals, floor timing, presenter support, camera coordination (six-camera setup), Zoom Q&A integration, live BSL interpreter support, slide and VT playback, and autocue management. Broadcast from Studio 1, Riverside Studios – an industry-grade television studio environment.

Producer, floor manager, and presenter-liaison for GoToWebinar, Zoom Webinar, & SpotMe; a series of virtual presentations with remote presenters/materials and a live green screen blended augmented reality studio. Included onboarding, rehearsing, and live stream of content/presenters. Using Interprefy, eCamm, vMix, Unity Real-Time 3d Platform, and AWS events.

Provided strategic communication leadership for a key event sponsorship at the UEG medical congress, supporting a long-standing European client (15 years). Partnered directly with the Brand Manager, Executive Leadership Team, and Commercial Brand Team to develop and execute the entire onsite communication strategy. I prepared 30 medical and commercial Key Account Managers (KAMs) for high-level interactions by developing all presentation content and structure and leading onsite coaching workshops to refine delivery. Ensured a unified, professional, and highly impactful client presence through continuous in-person management and rigorous consistency of all strategic messaging.

European Congress in Milan, Italy, where my client participated as a Diamond Sponsor. As part of a 15-member team of European Key Account Managers, I supported a commercially focused presence among 2,500+ attendees. The objective was to engage key stakeholders – including patient organisations, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals – while maintaining the highest standards of booth etiquette and compliance. I delivered a virtual pre-event workshop on personalised booth conduct, followed by an in-person session focused on managing potential objections and disruptions. My continued onsite presence ensured consistent, high-quality interactions and meaningful, trust-based engagement. This project offered valuable experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic commercial representation.

As a live event professional I am relied upon as a Senior Event Producer. However, this has also provided additional skills including showcalling and stage management. My recent work at COP28, Dubai, relied upon all of these skills whilst remaining client focused throughout. The opening video at the top of this page highlights the roles undertaken onsite.
