I led technical operations for a four-day corporate event in central London for a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics. My role involved overseeing room and AV management across three meeting spaces, coordinating a multidisciplinary AV team (including PTZ camera operator, PowerPoint and sound technicians, and remote platform support via Zoom and Microsoft Teams), and acting as the primary client liaison. I managed all digital materials, provided onsite video editing, and collaborated with the Hilton Hotel Events Team to ensure seamless logistics. I also handled last-minute technical requests such as mobile device streaming, impromptu Teams broadcasts, and digital archiving, ensuring a smooth experience for approximately 45 global delegates. Show Caller for the FT Live Global Pharma and Biotech Summit 2025

I served as Show Caller for one of the sector’s most influential gatherings — the FT Live Global Pharma and Biotech Summit 2025, an event bringing together more than three hundred attendees, over forty-five speakers, more than three hundred and twenty companies, and participants from more than twenty countries. The summit examined major advances in biopharmaceutical innovation,.

Working with presenters and senior leaders from Roche, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, and MSD, I oversaw the full live delivery across both the in-person and digital formats. My role demanded precise control of all timings, cues, and programme flow, acting as the central communication point between the client, venue, technical crew, and presenters. I adapted quickly to real-time changes, resolving challenges as they emerged, while also developing bespoke software to strengthen run-of-show accuracy and improve agenda timing.

Show Caller: CJ Lang (Aviemore, Scotland)

As the Showcaller, I showcalled the live execution of Scotland’s largest event for the convenience retail sector at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort, directing over 850 delegates and 200 FMCG exhibitors. My role was the central control point for the entire complex, multi-day programme, including a leadership conference, trade show, and a spectacular evening featuring a Gala Dinner, Awards Ceremony, Live Band, and Video DJ. I managed and cued all live elements and transitions – coordinating senior SPAR leaders, high-profile Scottish football guests, and the full technical crew (MM Productions) to ensure a strategically tight, high-impact, and perfectly timed show flow across the entire venue. Show Caller: Global Comms

I was Production Show caller for a global internal communications broadcast for a leading biopharmaceutical company. Working client-facing throughout, I created the Run of Show and coordinated with three project managers (client, agency, and technical), as well as the onsite comms team and global senior leadership presenters. I worked closely with the technical teams — LX, Sound, Camera Ops, Broadcast Manager, and vMix Op — to deliver a three-camera studio broadcast, live-streamed to all territories worldwide (including China) with simultaneous translation into eight languages. Despite a tight turnaround, minimal onsite rehearsal time, and multiple last-minute changes to digital assets, the show ran smoothly and to time. I provided presenter onboarding and relaxed, friendly on-camera coaching, and I even developed custom HTML code to synchronise agenda timing with streaming latency; giving us greater control of the live broadcast.

I led the technical delivery of a 90-minute live ceremony attended by 140 senior industry guests. Working client-facing throughout, I ran and cued the technical rehearsal, cue-to-cue, and presenter run-throughs, coordinating across all departments. I called all show cues — including mixed live and pre-recorded walk-up music, live performances by Alex Horne and The Horne Section, two BSL-interpreted performances, and autocue delivery for 24 scripted awards. Collaborating closely with Encore’s production team, I managed a constantly evolving run of show with nine script versions, SRT caption files, and complex cue sequencing, all in a high-pressure live environment. European Congress in Milan, Italy, where my client participated as a Diamond Sponsor. As part of a 15-member team of European Key Account Managers, I supported a commercially focused presence among 2,500+ attendees. The objective was to engage key stakeholders – including patient organisations, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals – while maintaining the highest standards of booth etiquette and compliance. Working with various global Pharmaceutical companies (including Cochlear, IPSEN, Takeda, Moderna) I have produced numerous events ranging from 500+ F2F meeting with virtual presenters joining and broadcasting to more intimate 15 presenters with global broadcast/record. Many of these events were on sites across Europe and using streaming services such as SpotMe.
